It is unmistakable – and i think it is unfakable ( which spell check tells me isn’t a word, hmmph!! ) it is one of those things that you love so much when you see it, you could almost bundle it up and take it home..

A true connection – absolute love.

Belief, trust, chemistry – all there within the bounds of the two people right in front of you.

I am fortunate enough to see it – often.

I love, to see love.

Sometimes I know I look at things differently to others – a good thing I think – perspective is suppose to be unique.

Too be playing in the fairy fields when it started to sprinkle with rain was a little bit of special in my day.

We stopped, closed our eyes then wished for the fairies to have enough time to get indoors and out of the giant raindrops that might cause them harm.

These are the moments in the middle of the chaos that i breathe in, that walk each step with me when i can’t be close to her.

All that sweetness and care wrapped up in a moment treasured forever with this photo and my heart.

To write forever wouldn’t be to explain how much i love this.

When you start looking for one particular thing no matter what it may be, it’s interesting how and where you find it.

So I was looking for a pattern – funnily enough not only did i find visual patterns, i discovered i had more patterns in my day to day than i might have cared to admit.

The quest the finding patterns is a shot of inspiration exploration – i love this challenge..

I chose a pattern that brought me joy – if anything this challenge has provided me with insight.

18 Jan | Week 1.

This year I have committed to being part of an amazing group of photographers who shoot to theme each fortnight. I guess for me it is a motivating way to drive me to look beyond my comfort zone, push my boundaries & develop my creative heart.

The theme for Week 1 is Inspiration.

The one thing I keep coming back to time and time again when I am looking to inspiration is light.. How do I master the light no matter when, no matter where – can I master the light? It is for me the both the discovery & evolution in my photography.

Sweet idea..

Recently i wanted to have a lot of the kids photo’s printed – you know just in case one of the back up – back up files goes.. Well you just never know!

Then it occurred to me that instead of the regular photo album I would start putting together for them a series of photo books – each year in a book..

It is something we will be able to do for their entire childhood.

The photo books are beautiful, each one will preserve the photo’s forever & I can have one printed for each of them.

I love it & as time goes by they will have

a library of their childhood.

Looking back over their photo’s it is true – time goes so quickly, each day is worth holding onto & cherishing..

Welcome to the new beginning – the start – the fresh bright day of 2012.

Ordinarily we like the rest of the world would celebrate on New Year’s Eve – just to make sure we change the cycle this year round

we didn’t.

Instead making today the first of the bright shiny new days – the one that we would revel in – celebrate – welcome – live in.

So we had a family day, all day just us together.. Beautiful breakfast, a trip to the park, a walk on the beach. Back home for a rest, then a BBQ “Linner “

( late lunch early dinner! ).. Just our family in the moment.

We celebrated being here together having each other..

This year we have decided to commit to the best life possible – commit to making our goals - commit to living it better.

It’s been a long year, lessons aplenty – thank you 2011 I am thankful yet ready to move on pretty quickly!.

So what’s ahead – all things pretty, all things beautiful, shades of pink, tones of cream.. Softness, light, love & laughter!

Really it’s all coming – the flowers, the dresses, the sunsets. With hast it’s time to get working, there are big dreams to make come true – hello 2012 & welcome so glad to see you just strolling up the road.
